I’m getting ready to go under the knife! Technically it will be a laparoscope, but either way I’ll be out for a few hours, then hopefully wake up with my hernia repaired! Thanks to everyone for your support! (at Forest Hills Hospital)

So apparently I have injured myself and require surgery! The doctors in my family diagnosed me with a small hernia on the right side below my hip. I went to a specialist and I will be scheduled for surgery this Friday! Sadly the timing of this necessary repair comes right before IWNY. Being that I’m a freelancer and don’t have insurance, paying out of pocket is my only option. In theory I will be on my feet by next Fridays Obliterati, however I’ll need to take it easy now until I leave for Europe on June 15th. Hopefully a kind hearted traveler will help me lift my bag into the overhead bin! (at Forest Hills Hospital)
